Broadland Counselling
My Approach
Rooted within the theory of the person-centred approach, I work alongside my clients, walking gently at their pace whilst gaining an empathic and authentic understanding of their life. I aim to work in a mindful manner, looking after the well-being of my client at all times, facilitating the client in coming to their own conclusions.
Whilst working with a mindful approach, I am warm and caring and strive to create an atmosphere that is both safe and relaxed, helping you to heal from the problem you are facing.
Working with both adults, adolescents, children and groups with talking therapy alongside using both art and mindfulness as a tool for relaxation and healing.
Deep in the belief of working in both a confidential and ethical way both for the safety of my clients and myself, I make use of regular supervision and working within the guidelines of the BACP ethical framework. I am a firm believer in ongoing training and I have a BA (hons) degree in Person-centred Counselling and continue to seek out further training qualifications and professional development.
